jaindl-david-portrait-bwA Message From David Jaindl

My father and grandfather began raising turkeys in 1935 with five turkeys purchased at a local county fair. After 74 years and four generations the Jaindl Family Farm continues to annually raise 750,000 turkeys for sale to our loyal customers. I purchased the farm in 2005 to continue our family’s tradition.

Our turkey farm is nestled in the beautiful hills of the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania. Corn and soybeans, the main ingredients in our freshly mixed turkey feed are grown on our 12,000 acres of farm land. Jaindl Farms is a fully integrated turkey farm: breeding, hatching, growing, processing and marketing our premium turkeys.

Just as my father before me, I still select each breeder that parents next year’s offspring. The Jaindl turkey is renowned worldwide as a special broad-breasted breed developed over decades of selective breeding by Fred Jaindl. These unique turkeys produce up to 54% more white meat than other brands and each turkey is parented by breeding hens and toms carefully selected from Jaindl’s own flocks.

The Jaindl Family and our employees work all year to assure that the turkey you choose for your Thanksgiving table is tender, moist, and delicious; making any day you serve a Jaindl turkey a holiday.

On behalf of the employees and the Jaindl family I welcome you to our website. Please browse our site to learn more about us and the products we are so proud to offer our customers.
